Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini Golf

There are so many mini golf places around the Gatlinburg area. Well.. and in Pigeon Forge too. That means these attractions must be well-attended and liked by families.

Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini Golf is just off the Parkway at the first traffic light you come to in Gatlinburg.

This is a very nicely themed mini golf and there is plenty of parking when you turn onto Dudley Creek Rd. We have visited this mini golf course once amongst some other mini golf courses in the area.

In some of the other posts for Ripley’s attractions, we would recommend getting a combo ticket on their website. There are a number of combo ticket options that would include a varying number of Ripley’s attractions. Each of the combo tickets have the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies as a requirement – but then the other attraction options are decided by the guest – like adding Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini Golf to your itinerary!

Salt & Pepper Shaker Museum

Wow.. is all I can say. Have you ever seen such a collection before?

The owners of the Salt & Pepper Shaker Museum in Gatlinburg are avid collectors to say the least.

There are over 20,000 sets of salt and pepper shakers in this museum! As you enter, you see countless rows and displays of these useful products.

The admission cost is very inexpensive – at just $3 of the time of this writing. What is better – is that admission cost can be used as a credit in the gift shop!

Mysterious Mansion of Gatlinburg

Looking for an “old school” haunted house? The Mysterious Mansion of Gatlinburg is your stop!

The Mysterious Mansion is not on the main strip – but it on River Rd. This is a road that splits off as you come into Gatlinburg and is west of the main strip.

If you know where the SkyPark chair lifts are at, the Mysterious Mansion is back behind the SkyPark area.

We visited the Mysterious Mansion back at the end of 2019. The house is very well done and scares around every corner! Our daughter doesn’t yet have an interest in doing this popular attraction – but maybe sometime in the future.

It is recommended that children be at least 13 years old, but it isn’t a requirement per some of the signage.

Ripley’s Mirror Maze & Candy Factory

The Gatlinburg strip has a couple of mirror mazes – the other one is the Amazing Mirror Maze.

Ripley’s doesn’t disappoint with their own mirror maze as well. The facility also has a candy factory to get your fill of sweets!

No real description is needed for the mirror maze – it is a maze/course that has all mirror walls which makes it challenging and fun to navigate and try to find the end as you bump into the mirror wall panels.

In some of the other posts for Ripley’s attractions, we would recommend getting a combo ticket on their website. There are a number of combo ticket options that would include a varying number of Ripley’s attractions. Each of the combo tickets have the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies as a requirement – but then the other attraction options are decided by the guest – like adding Ripley’s Mirror Maze & Candy Factory to your itinerary!

Amazing Mirror Maze

Disorientation… like you wouldn’t believe!

The Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area is home to a few different mirror mazes. The Amazing Mirror Maze is right on the Gatlinburg strip.

We went to a mirror maze in Pigeon Forge when our daughter was younger.. she wasn’t much of a fan unfortunately. As an adult, it was a different kind of experience with having no idea where you were going and running into the mirror walls! But, we managed to get through it and complete the course!

This location is also home to Circus Golf in 3D.

Circus Golf in 3D

There are so many attractions right on the main Gatlinburg strip… and there are plenty of options for mini golf too!

Circus Golf in 3D has a very nicely circus themed exterior that invites you in.

When they say 3D.. they mean with black lights! This mini golf attraction is completely inside and dark – except for the very brilliant neon colors that are illuminated by the black lights.

This location is also home to the Amazing Mirror Maze.

Ripley’s Motion Blaster

One thing Ripley’s has going for it – is the real estate that they own. They have a number of prime location attractions right on the Gatlinburg strip that are easy to get to.

Ripley’s Motion Blaster is right along the strip as well. But.. what the heck is a motion blaster??!

Well, it is an interactive 5D gaming-type experience. Guests will enter a large room with seats and a large screen in front of them. The seats will have a “blaster” weapon that guests use to interact with the screen when the show starts.

That isn’t all though! The seats move too!

In some of the other posts for Ripley’s attractions, we would recommend getting a combo ticket on their website. There are a number of combo ticket options that would include a varying number of Ripley’s attractions. Hillbilly Golf

As you come into downtown Gatlinburg, you see a place on the left side of the road (if coming from the Pigeon Forge area). It looks like a very steep tram or train going up the hill.

Right outside is a sign for Hillbilly Golf. This is a a one-of-kind experience in Gatlinburg with how the course is accessed.

Much like other mini golf courses, they offer two 18 hole courses once you ascend 300 feet up in the tram.

Hillbilly Golf always seems to be packed when we drive by – with a line waiting to take the tram up. They also have very limited parking so plan accordingly if you’d like to visit this attraction.

Ripley’s Super Fun Zone

The Ripley’s Super Fun Zone is another branded attraction in the downtown Gatlinburg area.

A small brief history – there used to be a different establishment in the building that Ripley’s Super Fun Zone currently resides. Back prior to 2020, the building was occupied by Cooter’s Place – which was a tribute to the Dukes of Hazard.

Ripley’s Super Fun Zone then took up residence and opened in 2020. Inside, there are arcade games, indoor mini golf and laser tag.

In some of the other posts for Ripley’s attractions, we would recommend getting a combo ticket on their website. There are a number of combo ticket options that would include a varying number of Ripley’s attractions.
